Today's the national commemoration day when we lost the war against England for the control over the Islas Malvinas (aka Falkland Islands).

For our nation, it's not a 'happy day'. Not only for the loss, but this date remind us a terrible period of time when we were misgoverned by the military, under a coup d'état that started in 1976 and finished in 1983, with the democratic election of the president Raúl Alfonsín.

Who, the past March 31, has passed by.

And now, let's talk in a less serious mood. These are my "Hetalia version" for the Falkland Islands. Their names are Soledad (your left) and Gran Malvina or Malvina (your right). They were found by France, who sold them to Spain. Then, when The United Provinces of the River Plate became independient of Spain, in 1810, they were under the control of TUPRP (lately called Argentina). But, 150 years Ago, England found the islands and settled in there. Argentina, under that coud d'état, fought with England and lost all control over the Falkland Islands.

Very, very short.

I was planning on drawing them for the Hetalia meme, but I thought it was better to draw them alone, specially for this day ^^
